Longines just took its classic Pilot’s Watch Majetek Reference 3582 from 1938 and modernized it with a nicely chunkified case, improved materials, a chronometer certified L893 automatic movement, and a rather nifty fluted bezel with a rotating pointer underneath the sapphire glass. The dial is matte black with a small seconds subdial and Super-LumiNova old radium-coated hands and numerals. Choose between an olive or brown leather strap, or an olive fabric strap. Regardless of which one you choose, the look is fresh but also timeless. While it won’t let you pull it off with a suit, it should go with just about everything else.
