When it comes to unique, boutique watches, there are few brands doing the kind of innovating you’ll find in every HYT timepiece. This has never been more true than it is with their latest piece, the HYT Soonow Instant Rainbow Watch. The skull-adorned watch is the latest iteration of their popular fluidic module that tells the time with moving fluid–in this case around the outline of the skull–instead of with traditional hands. The Instant Rainbow aspect of the watch from almost 700 sapphires, amethysts, tsavorites and other precious gems in 14 different color combinations. Those gems anchor the skull face that’s composed of 313 18-carat yellow gold pins and grills to create the 3D visual of the skull. As if it wasn’t already brilliant enough, the “eyes” have their own anodized colors with the right socket serving as the power reserve indicator and the left as the seconds counter. With a total of 4.73KT in stones alone, along with the price of their previous watches, it’s definitely going to fetch in the range of a German sports car once pricing is revealed.
