Men’s style website HYPEPBEAST has partnered with Timex for its first watch model. The collab is trendy yet also classic at the same time. It uses the current Timex M79 (the modern version of the iconic Timex Q) as its base and adds a fresh matte blue and washed-look fuschia unidirectional bezel. The pink half intentionally mimics faded red bezels from vintage watches after years of exposure to the sun. The minimalist navy dial has only the 6, 9, and 12 numerals paired with a minute track. The Mercedes’ hands are a more traditional choice but still work for the look. The diameter is an accommodating 40mm, and the watch is powered by a 21-jewel Miyota automatic movement. The day/date window shows off an English/Chinese letter version instead of the oft-found English/French, a unique twist that’s just right for this collab. The H-link bracelet should provide excellent comfort, as well as a commensurate level of style. Only 500 will be made.
