The Citizen Promaster Diver line is legendary for its chunky looks, robust construction, and dive-ready capabilities. It also happens to be quite affordable in both stainless steel solar quartz and automatic versions, coming in at a couple of hundred bucks. Now, the Japanese brand has created one in lightweight and tough titanium. It’s called the Super Titanium Dive Automatic. The case measures a big 46mm in diameter, but it’s a little bit thinner than standard Promasters. Depth rating is 200 meters, and there’s also magnetic resistance of up to 16,000 a/m. The bezel is unique to the model with added pyramid studs to enhance the look and the grip of the already well-grooved bezel. The chunky cathedral hands and half-circle markers carry over, and there’s ample lume that Citizen is famous for. The textured dial mimics the bezel, a nice detail. The watch is powered by the Citizen 9051 automatic calibe, one of their higher-end movements. Choose between a dive-ready rubber strap or a sweet three-link titanium bracelet.
