The Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull is the latest edition to the brand’s famous Skull collection, and it might just be the most unique version so far. The collection departs from their traditional heritage and pilot gauge models, instead opting for a bold and radical artistic approach with the human skull as the highlight in various interpretations. The Cyber Skull departs from previous Skull models since it doesn’t use the brand’s typical square case. It uses a stealth-fighter-like beveled case with screws set underneath the faceted sapphire glass crystal. The faceted black skull and crossbones are made of ceramic and “float” inside the case with the balance and barrel visible within. The jawbone moves when the crown is wound, and the barrel is mostly hidden when the jaw is closed. The 50-hour power reserve calibre BR-CAL.208 mechanical automatic movement has rhodium plated parts and is visible from the back in an artistic display all its own. Only 500 pieces will be made at a price of $10,900. It’s a statement piece, for sure, and it just might motivate you to get that tattoo you’ve been holding off on.
