French watch microbrand Baltic’s newest release is an automotive racing gem. The new Tricompax Baltic x Peter Auto is inspired by vintage racing chronographs. Having partnered with Peter Auto to create this triple register automatic chronograph, Baltic gave the Tricompax a manual-wind Swiss Sellita SW510-M chronograph movement. The upgraded movement has 63 hours of power reserve and hacking seconds, too. The case measures a very accommodating 39.5mm in diameter and 13.5mm in thickness. The watch sports a textured beige, black, orange, and yellow dial that has just the right amount of visual drama. Other key details include a black aluminum bezel, flat-link bracelet, double-domed sapphire glass, and engraved caseback. Perhaps the watch’s most attractive feature isn’t on the watch itself. Each of the limited 300 units comes with two matching stopwatches that fit in their own case. As of this writing, the Tricompax is all sold out, which only took a matter of minutes.
