On August 1, 2015, a gunman boarded a Paris-bound train with the intent to kill many people. His plans were upended by a collection of brave men who’s training prepared them to act in the face of danger. This is their story, as told by Clint Eastwood. The 15:17 To Paris tells the tale of Alek Skarlatos, Spencer Stone, and Anthony Sadler, three of the men who acted that day to prevent mass casualties on board the Thalys train. Not only is it about those men, it stars those men, as Eastwood enlisted them to make the film as accurate as possible. The film hits theaters on February 9, 2018.
