If you had asked us a few months ago what our favorite recent project was that renowned designer Joe Doucet of JDXP had worked on, we definitely would have said the Air Co. Vodka that turns excess carbon into a spirit. But now we’re going to have to update our answer to the Hero Zero Emission Passenger Plane Concept. This concept passenger airplane leverages the latest advances in electric engines from ground based travel to create a three-engine plane that can get travelers from point A to point B without depositing harmful carbon emissions in the upper atmosphere. The engines in the concept aren’t the only thing that make this possible because the material composition and unique design (we kind of think it looks like a giant drone with windows) also affect the functionality, efficiency and overall efficacy of the aircraft. Unfortunately, it’s just a concept at this point, but we’re sure something like this will exist one day.
