Wes Anderson is one of our favorite filmmakers because of his distinct visual and cinematic style. Now, thanks to The Budapest Cafe, a new spot in Chengdu, China, you have a chance to experience some Wes Anderson in real life. Conceived of and brought to life by Melbourne-based studio Biasol, this cafe was designed with the “vivid and nostalgic color palettes” seen in Anderson’s movies in mind. The vision of architect Jean-Pierre Biasol includes marble surfaces, pastel hues, arches, a tiered seating area, iconic light fixtures, unique spaces and an original Eero Aarnio Bubble chair to create an environment that’s both classy and whimsical.
