Airbnb has changed the way we travel, allowing us to find affordable places to stay just about anywhere we go. Of course, how those places turn out is often somewhat of a crapshoot. That’s why, for its 10th anniversary, Airbnb has launched Airbnb Plus, a collection of places that pass a 100+ point quality inspection. While reviews usually give you a good idea, we’ve learned that what works for some doesn’t work for others. That’s why a place can only receive the Airbnb Plus badge if it not only has great reviews, but it was checked in person for things like the number of towels offered, the art on the walls, and whether there are enough hangers for a guest’s clothes. It takes a lot of the unease out of the equation and ensures the Airbnb you pick for your next vacation won’t ruin your trip.
