After much too long a wait, Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) is finally back and ready to take on the 1980’s in all of its radical, tubular, and corrupt glory. Along for the ride, her soldier/spy love interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) returns miraculously alive, and this time it appears he will be the fish out of water in a strange new decade. Joining them will be Kristen Wiig (as a villain?!) in the role of Cheetah, and, The Mandalorian himself, Pedro Pascal (in a wig?!) as Maxwell Lord. After only two minutes, we’re already hyped. The retro look and feel will most definitely be packed with a killer soundtrack and enough ass-kicking action to make up for some of the other duds that DC has dropped in the time in between. Although, it’s gonna be tough to hit the highs of the prequel, we have confidence that Woman Wonder will find a way to win the day again. The movie is expected to hit theaters on June 5, 2020.
