Jeff Bridges has been putting in some truly remarkable performances across a whole host of genres for longer than most of you reading this have been alive, but he will always be Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski to us. The movie is more than two decades old at this point, so it’s about time The Dude made a return to the screen. In this case, it’s in the unlikely role of Stella Artois spokesman for a Super Bowl ad dubbed “Change Up The Usual.” Sarah Jessica Parker also makes a return as a beer-ordering Carrie Bradshaw, which literally sets the restaurant they’re in ablaze, leaving The Dude to be his usual cool self. Would we have preferred a full-length, super cool feature film return of The Dude with John Goodman’s Walter? Absolutely. That said, there’s just something about The Dude abiding in that iconic sweater that will always bring a smile to our faces.
