The Wachowski Brothers have teamed up with J. Michael Straczynski and Netflix for an original series called Sense8 that tells the story of 8 strangers that get super mind-melded across the globe. The cast includes everyone from Naveen Andrews, Joey Pants and Daryl Hannah to Freema Agyeman (a Doctor Who companion), Doona Bae (Cloud Atlas, The Host) and even Ron Jeremy (billed as the “Hairy Mexican”). Worst case scenario, it’s going to be interesting, but with a trailer that features knee-sliding, double pistol wielding bullet-time, it should be a return to form for the Wachowskis.
