Ever since we saw the official teaser trailer for Rocketman, we knew we wanted more of the film story of Sir Elton John’s formative years. The wait for the film itself isn’t over because it doesn’t come out until May 31st, but Paramount just dropped the official, non-teaser trailer of the version. If the trailer alone is any indication, Taron Egerton has gone full Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury for this role, so you know it’s going to be a wild ride. We’re going to have to wait a full year to see if cleans up at the Oscars like Bohemian Rhapsody just did, but all signs point to music biopics two year’s running. We think you’ll agree once you watch the trailer.
