“How I Designed…” The Maserati MC12

After almost four decades of absence from the racing circuit, Maserati heralded their return to motor sport with the Maserati MC12. This limited production, two-seater car was built with the Ferrari Enzo as a base and would go on to become one of the most widely regarded modern tridents to ever be produced. It was originally designed by icon Frank Stephenson, and he’s recreating his entire process of the initial design of the Maserati MC12 on his web series “How I Designed…”. If we’re being completely honest, watching Stephenson physically draw that iconic car with nothing more than a piece of printer paper and a five-cent Bic pen is nothing shot of amazing. And now, we’re going to let him take it away with this 10 minute video of him designing the Maserati MC12 from the ground up.
