California Typewriter is a documentary about typewriters and the people who still love them. Yes, we know we can’t sell you on watching it simply by describing it. Hitting select theaters on August 18, the film features Tom Hanks, John Mayer, and other typewriter devotees. Hey, if a film about the font Helvetica can keep us entertained, we think this could be pretty good.
