“Black Monday” is name given to October 19, 1987, the day of the worst stock market crash in Wall Street history. That doesn’t sound like an event ripe for comedy, but Showtime sure seems like it found some. Black Monday is a comedy series set to hit the network on January 20, 2019, and based solely on this first trailer, we’re bullish. The series stars Don Cheadle as Rod “The Jammer” Jaminski, a member of a group of outsiders who take on the blue-blood club of Wall Street, with a Lamborghini limousine in tow. We encourage you to watch and put a reminder on your calendar since you have some time before this one drops.
