If you Google “world’s smallest drone” you’ll find a bunch of information about Axis Drones absurdly tiny AERIUS quadcopter (along with some clear knockoffs). It’s shorter than a quarter on its side, docks in the controller and is absurdly fun to fly–even in an office. The one thing it doesn’t do is record video, which is where VIDIUS comes in. Measuring just 4.3cm x 4.3cm x 2.5cm, VIDIUS is capable of recording live video or stills or streaming to Android or iOS devices in 420p for the 5 – 7 minutes its in the air per flight. On the technical side of things, it has 6-axis gyro stabilization, 360 degree rotational yaw and a pre-programmed “trick mode” if you want flips and rolls without the work. Like all its predecessors, it still comes in at under $100.
