First it was Float from Gramovox, and now we have another turntable turning things around. TOC is a vertical record player designed by Roy Harpaz, and it was created with ease of use and clean design in mind. Inspired by the age of the dinosaurs—”T” for the Triassic period, the “C” for the Cretaceous period, and the “O” for the Jurassic period in the middle and the shape of an egg—the vinyl spinner features modern niceties like LED touch buttons and sensors that allow you to actually skip tracks. Complete with a carbon fiber brush that keeps the stylus clean and a set of bearings that allow TOC to play even warped records, the stylish turntable is as much an advanced performance piece as it is a piece of art. No word on if it will end up being produced for sale.

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
