As is the case with any Apple event, we got to hear a bunch of speeches from guys in button downs and casual/cool jeans (because they’re hip and with it!) and we finally got to see a new product or two. In this case, it was the new iPhone 6 ($199+) and 6 Plus ($299+) (among other things). With displays measuring 4.7″ and 5.5″ respectively, the new phones are larger than any previous iPhone model. Each comes with a new A8 chip that’s 25% faster than the previous A7, a M8 motion processor that assists in the new fitness app, and an improved iSight camera with true tone flash and an all-new sensor. The phones will run iOS 8 which was announced as well—new health app, better notifications, Apple Pay—and will be available for pre-order Friday and ship on the 19th.
