The 360fly 4k camera, the one that captures life in all angles, is finally available for purchase. The 360 degree horizontal by 240 degree vertical capture and app control that sold us on the camera in the first place at CES is still there, but the production model is more fleshed out than we could have imagined. The 16-megapixel sensor increases resolution to 2880 x 2800 pixels. With 1.5hr battery life and 64GB of memory, it can store up to three hours of footage. The camera also has a built-in accelerometer, e-compass, gyroscope, non-assisted GPS and dual omnidirectional microphones–in addition to being more rugged with 1atm water resistance, dustproofing and shockproofing. In our opinion, the production version even looks better than the initial prototype.
