yelp-top-100-restaurants

We rarely go anywhere to eat without doing at least a little research into what others think of the joint. For this purpose, Yelp is a trusty companion. While we don’t buy all the reviews and don’t put too much stock into what some people think (looking at you, guy who went in-depth on his Subway lunch), for the most part, it’s exceptionally helpful. The engineers at Yelp have now dug through all their data and compiled a list of the 100 Places to Eat in the US. It takes into account both ratings and amount of reviews to showcase places that are both popular and delicious. Here are the Top 10:

1. Da Poke Shack (Kailua-Kona, HI)

2. Paseo (Seattle, WA)

3. Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ (Kansas City, KS)

4. The Cinnamon Snail (New York, NY)

5. Porto’s Bakery (Burbank, CA)

6. Dametra Cafe (Carmel by the Sea, CA)

7. Alinea (Chicago, IL)

8. Franklin Barbecue (Austin, TX)

9. Gary Danko (San Francisco, CA)

10. Joe’s Falafel (Los Angeles, CA)

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
