It should come as no surprise to any of you that we have addictions when it comes to cool products. Right now, we’re hopelessly addicted to buying pens on Kickstarter. Aluminum, titanium, steel, stylus, ballpoint, it doesn’t matter. If it’s a pen and it’s on Kickstarter, we want it. There does seem to be one giant gaping flaw with all these pens though—most of them only use Pilot Hi-Tec-C cartridges. We don’t get Hi-Tec-C. The guys behind PHX, and PHX-1 have released a new pen that is easily our favorite for three reasons: it’s made of solid titanium; it has a built-in stylus; and, most importantly, it takes every refill imaginable from Bic to Dong-A (don’t ask) to Pilot to Uniball to Zebra. Until Chadwick and Joe one-up themselves again, this will be our instrument of choice in all things written.
