When it comes to taking pictures, there will always be a conversation about convenience versus quality. While the whole “the best camera is the one you have with you” argument is certainly true, there’s no reason not to give your iPhone a little help. That’s exactly what the scientists and engineers at DxO are doing with ONE. Built to connect to your phone via the lightning connector, the DxO ONE has an f/1.8 32mm equivalent 6-element aspherical lens with an adjustable iris and a powerful 1″ sensor (up to 20.2 megapixels). When ONE is connected, your iPhone becomes the viewfinder, and you use DSLR style controls that you’re familiar with to control the app. Most importantly, it’s pocket sized and weighs less than 4oz.
