From the AR Drone to the Bebop, and everything in between, Parrot has established itself as an innovator in the world of drone and quadcopter technology. For their latest release, Disco, Parrot skipped the multi-rotor setup you’re probably familiar with in favor of a fixed wing, ultralight style design powered by a high speed engine and an 8″ propeller. Disco weighs less than two pounds thanks to durable foam construction, will get around 45 minutes of flight time and can hit 50 mph. Once it’s in flight you’ll be able to take advantage of a 14 megapixel front nose camera, programmable flight plans, return home capabilities, 3-axis digital stabilization and automatic landing. You can also use it with Parrot’s Skycontroller, FPV glasses and a smartphone/tablet for a truly immersive flying experience.
