If you’re willing to take your look a little more Steampunk in order to get the best of the best in the world of Virtual Reality experiences, look no further than the recently announced Panasonic HDR UHD VR Glasses that were recently revealed at CES. Billed as “the world’s first1 High Dynamic Range (HDR) capable ultra high definition (UHD) virtual reality (VR) eyeglasses,” these specs are equipped with a micro OLED panel, high-quality sound and an optical module that can display natural and distortion-free images in super single focus. In other words, they’re capable of giving you a full Virtual Reality sensory experience that’s better than any home entertainment experience on the market right now–even if it doesn’t include Smell-o-vision. Despite having a Kopin-developed optical module and in-ear audio tuned by Technics, these highly capable 4K ultra-high-definition spectacles still aren’t available to the public… but we expect that to change quickly after their unveiling at CES.
