Billed as “the world’s first1 High Dynamic Range (HDR) capable ultra high definition (UHD) virtual reality (VR) eyeglasses,” these specs are equipped with a micro OLED panel, high-quality sound and an optical module that can display natural and distortion-free images in super single focus. In other words, they’re capable of giving you a full Virtual Reality sensory experience that’s better than any home entertainment experience on the market right now–even if it doesn’t include Smell-o-vision. Despite having a Kopin-developed optical module and in-ear audio tuned by Technics, these highly capable 4K ultra-high-definition spectacles still aren’t available to the public… but we expect that to change quickly after their unveiling at CES.
