At one point or another, we’ve all been in the position where we know our phone is going to die and there’s probably a snowball’s chance in hell you’re going to be able to do anything about it. For us, it generally happens right after the 20% battery warning pops-up on the screen. If you’re sitting at your desk and just forgot to plug it in, it’s no big deal. If you’re out and about, it’s more of an issue. The battery case is an option, but it makes your phone bulky. The portable battery pack requires you carrying a separate cable. Jump, from Native Union, packs a cable and an 800mAh battery into a package about half the size of an iPhone. It comes in Lightning and Micro USB versions, weighs less than two AA batteries and gives you right around 4 hours of additional juice. Plenty of time to get to a nearby USB port.
