Microsoft’s new Surface Headphones, which are set for release later this year, deliver on many levels. For starters, they boast active noise cancellation and on-ear touch controls so you can swipe through tracks and adjust the volume with ease. Then there’s the automatic pause/play when you pull them off and put them back on, which is a lot like a pair of Apple AirPods. Very cool is the fact that the noise cancellation can be adjusted by turning the ring on one of the sides. The cans are also packed with the Cortana virtual assistant so you can rattle off requests while you wear them. Then there’s the design, which we have to admit is nothing short of beautiful. Microsoft really knocked it out of the park here. Assuming the audio quality is as impressive as promised, we see a pair of these in our future.
