Luma Surround WiFi

The fact that everything from your appliances and your security system to your phones and tablets can all be connected to the Internet is one of the most marvelous technological achievements of the last decade. But it’s also a huge pain in the ass. If you live in a place any larger than a closet, you probably know exactly how many steps it takes to get out of WiFi coverage. Luma wants to change all of this by leveraging the same kind of technology that large corporations use to give you what they’re calling “Surround WiFi” in your home. Each Luma gives you access to all the tech features you need in a router: IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band 2.4 and 5GHz, WPA/WPA2, but it crams all of them, including Surround WiFi, into a beautifully designed hexagonal package that is just as much art as it is science.
