LG Unveils See-Through TV at CES 2024

LG unveiled its first wireless transparent OLED TV at CES 2024. The 77-inch screen not only seamlessly integrates into the surroundings when turned off but also boasts wireless features, allowing it to be placed anywhere in your home for a more open environment. LG’s OLED T has earned accolades, winning five CES 2024 Innovation Awards, including the prestigious Best of Innovation honor.

Powered by an (Alpha) 11 AI processor, LG’s transparent television promises a 70% improvement in graphic performance and 30% faster processing speeds compared to previous models. The OLED T comes with a Zero Connect Box utilizing LG’s wireless transmission technology, eliminating the need for cables to connect devices. This wireless setup provides the freedom to personalize the display by adding shelves to either side for a seamless Netflix binging experience.

Similar to Samsung’s Frame TV, the OLED T features an always-on display showcasing artwork, videos, and photos. However, LG takes it a step further with selections appearing to float in the air, offering a unique viewing experience. The transparent screen also allows the surrounding space in the room to be visible. With a planned release later this year, LG’s OLED T is redefining the possibilities in the television industry, providing customers with greater freedom to curate their living spaces. CES 2024 attendees can catch a glimpse of this groundbreaking TV until January 12.
