When we first saw Kicks we were reminded of the scene in Dumb & Dumber where Harry gets strapped with a bulletproof vest and Llyod questions him about what would’ve happened if he got shot in the face. In all his idiocy, Llyod makes a good point, Jeff Daniels could easily have taken a bullet between the brows because he wasn’t fully protected. With the iPad2 you want to keep the sleek profile so you’ve got your colorful smart cover keeping it protected, which is awesome for the front but leaves the back exposed like a paper hospital gown. For the other half of your iPad we suggest dropping the 12 bucks and getting a set of Kicks. The rubber bars use 3M adhesive to stick to the back of your Apple gear and provide a easily removable bumper to protect against scratching and dinging.
