Insta360 has been producing some of smallest, most capable and easiest to use 360-degree cameras for as long as the technology has been feasible. Joining the likes of their Nano Panoramic and Pro cameras is their latest, the Insta360 EVO. Don’t let the GoPro size fool you, this is going to be one of the most capable cameras on the market because of it’s unique design. In its cube form, it uses a lens on either side to record 360° 2D video with the same globe shot style you’re accustomed to. That’s great in its own right, but the EVO also opens flat to put the lenses next to each other when you want to record 180° 3D video that appears to jump out of the screen. FlowState Stabilization or basic gyro stabilization compensate for minor shakes and help stabilize your video regardless of which mode you’re shooting in, so your up to 5.7K30 videos and 18MP photos will always look great. It even has VR functionality when hooked up to one of the popular headsets, along with an optional Insta360 HoloFrame lens case that can be snapped onto your phone for 3D viewing without the glasses.
