Helly Hansen makes some of the best winter activewear on the market. That sounds like marketing jargon, but it’s true. If you’re outside, doing extreme stuff in fresh powder, Helly Hansen has the goods to keep you warm while you’re ripping up the mountain… or even just making a snowman. The newest product addition has absolutely nothing to do with clothing and it’s absolutely free. It’s called First Tracks, and it’s an iPhone and Android app designed to wake you up earlier if it snows. So, you know, you can be the one making the first tracks. Launch the app, let the GPS set your location and pick two times to get up. If it doesn’t snow, sleep til 10am and nurse that wicked hangover. If it does, First Tracks will get your ass out of bed bright and early so you can pop some Advil and do it all again.
