Grovemade makes fantastic desk accessories, and Joey Roth makes fantastic speaker systems. The two brands collaborated on a new speaker system that is as acoustically driven as it is flat-out good looking. Using a custom back-loaded horn design and an enclosure with no parallel walls or flat surfaces (like a concert hall), the speakers have a solid range of frequency information and a lack of distortion. Each speaker is crafted one at a time in the Grovemade workshop in Portland using American black walnut, stainless steel, premium vegetable tanned leather and a natural cork base, which ensures each pair of speakers is truly unique while still being high-performing. Even the cabling to connect your speakers to the central volume control and power is braided, so this is absolutely one set of speakers you’re going to want on display.
