Andrew Tang and Roy Gilsing need your help. The American Architect and Dutch Industrial Designer have teamed up to design what we feel is one of the best iPad cases to almost hit the market. The project, on Kickstarter, combines a thermoplastic, two-part hardshell body with a leather handle that reminds us of that stick and catch tennis ball game we used to love. Slide your hand into the leather handle and your iPad becomes truly one-handed. Which leaves your free hand open for page-flipping, angry birding and that other thing you do with one free hand and limitless video possibilities. Since it’s a hard shell case, you don’t have baby your iPad as much as you’re used to either. Now, the bad news. The project needs another $5k in funding by January 13 or it won’t get produced. Get in on the ground floor for $49 and you get a Grabbit.
