You can’t go 10 feet at CES without stumbling into a new fitness band. The problem is, most are so alike in both looks and performance that you feel like you’re taking crazy pills. Garmin’s Vivofit should be praised for bringing something a little different to the table. While the appearance is still very much like other activity trackers on the market, what is nice about Vivofit is that it actually uses the data it obtains from your level of activity, sleep, etc and turns that into personalized goals for you on a daily basis. Is it all that different from others out there? No, but it is nice to see somebody finally improve a little bit on the idea.
