Unless you want to lose a cup holder to put an Echo in your ride, you’re going to have to leave Alexa at home. That is, of course, until Garmin went ahead and built Speak, a device that allows you to bring your personal assistant on the road. Speak attaches to your windshield and allows you to stream music and podcasts, place orders for food and products, and adjust your smart home devices while driving. And, as any Alexa user knows, that’s only scratching the surface. You can get navigation assistance, of course, and hundreds of other Alexa skills. The real selling point here is the fact that you can do all these things without taking your hands off the wheel. It’s time to take Alexa on the road.
