Fender Teamed up with MoFi for a Limited-Edition Turntable

There are plenty of iconic guitar manufacturers and audio brands out there, but the one that always comes to our mind first is Fender. And it’s still true to this day almost 3/4 of a century later. Outside of the icons like the Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass that we’ve all come to know and love, Fender was no stranger to incredible collaborations as well. They made whiskey barrel amps. They made Leica guitars and cameras with the guitarist of The Police. They built a Hollywood Bowl benches guitar. The list goes on and on, and on. And now it continues with a collaboration with Mobile Fidelity (aka MoFi) Electronics for a limited-edition turntable. This turntable was devised, handmade, and manufactured in the USA with the iconic tricolor sunburst pattern of the Fender instruments of the early 1950s with all the modern performance technology to back up the stylish design. Mobile Fidelity’s acclaimed MasterTracker cartridge is paired with a super-sturdy, 1.3-inch, 6.8-pound Delrin platter and 300RPM isolated AC synchronous motor for easy setup, natural impedance, excellent speed stability, stellar pitch accuracy, and extremely quiet operation. In other words, it’s damn near perfect–except for the fact it’s limited to just 1,000 units and will be hard to get your hands on.
