Back in the day, it wasn’t called gaming. If you’re old enough to remember going to the arcade, there’s a nostalgia that can’t be replaced by online or computer games. Stand for hours, place your quarter on the edge to call next dibs, and watch in awe at the best players work their joystick and button magic. Capcom wants to replicate this feeling for your home, and the CAPCOM Home Arcade captures most, if not all of it. The case is the CAPCOM logo in signature blue and yellow, while the controls are two full-size premium stick and button configurations just like the arcade games of old. 16 classic CAPCOM games come pre-loaded in the console, and they use the CPS1 and CPS2 arcade ROMs with FB Alpha emulation for that authentic CAPCOM arcade experience. White knuckle for hours with Street Fighter II, Alien vs. Predator, or Strider, just to name a few. Plug in using the included HDMI cable directly to your modern TV, and send yourself back to high school when after-school programs meant a crap ton of tokens and really sore hands. The retro console will be available on October 25, 2019, but you can pre-order now.
