The Best TVs You Can Buy on Amazon at Every Price Point

There are still a few big box brick and mortar stores you can head to when you want a new TV. That said, like with most other products, you can find plenty of solid sets on Amazon. The options are more plentiful. The deals are generally better. And you have the added benefit of never having to leave the comfort of your own home. These are the best TVs you can buy on Amazon at every price point.

Sceptre 50″ Class FHD 1080P LED TV

If you had asked us a couple years ago how much TV you could buy for $200, we never would have said 50″. If we’re being completely honest, we’re not really surprised that Sceptre is the brand that can deliver this much screen real estate for such a low price, because they’ve been producing affordable LED and LCD displays for some time. One of the best cheap TVs out there, this Sceptre model gives you 49.5″ of size with razor-sharp 1080P clarity, dazzling color and just enough inputs to connect an average home theater setup. $200

LG 43″ 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV

As much as we’re generally of the opinion that there’s no such thing as too big when it comes to TVs, there are a few scenarios where you might want something on the smaller side. Maybe you want something that can easily mount. Or maybe you want something from a big brand known for manufacturing great panels that’s still affordable. LG’s 43″ option fits the bill in all those cases. It might not be the biggest TV on the list, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in clarity with multi-format 4K HDR, LG advanced tone-mapping, IPS technology and the artificial intelligence ThinQ setup. $347

TCL 55″ 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV

55″ of living room defining glory. 4K Ultra HD picture clarity with the contrast, color and detail of HDR for the most lifelike picture. Direct-lit LED for great picture quality. 120Hz refresh rate. Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2×2 Dual Band. 3 HDMI, 1 USB, RF, Composite, Headphone, Optical Audio and Ethernet jacks. Roku support (which also enables a smartphone remote and private listening). There are not enough nice things that we can say about this discounted TV that’s perfect for cord cutters$380

Toshiba 50″ 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV Fire TV Edition

Even though we don’t normally believe in brand loyalty, it’s understandable when it comes to stalwart brands like Toshiba and Amazon. Yeah, you can get a handful more inches for a few dozen less dollars from a brand you’re not familiar with, but this particular TV is still a great value if you want the Fire TV experience from a brand you trust. Tens of thousands of channels. Built-in Alexa. Voice remote. Prime Video. Netflix. Hulu. HBO. Showtime. Starz. Any of the apps you want, along with high-quality visual and audio options are available with this Toshiba TV.  $400

TCL 65″ 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV

If you like the other TCL lower cost and lower size options—and who wouldn’t?—there’s a huge, and still affordable, option in the TCL 65″ 4L Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV. This particular model has everything you’ve come to expect from TCL, but it’s updated for 2018 with even more advanced features. All the HDMI, HDCP, USB, RF, Composite, Optical and Ethernet jacks are paired with edge LED backlighting, Dolby Vision and NBP Photon Technology. Pair those enhancements with an extra dozen inches of screen real estate for one of the best screen experiences out there. $750

Samsung Curved 65″ 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV

We never would have recommended a curved screen television if you had asked us a few years ago. Now that all the kinks have been smoothed out, they’re actually worth considering for a few reasons. Curved sets give you a more immersive experience, a wider field of view and a more cinema-like sharpness. With a trusted name like Samsung making this particular curved 65″ option, you can expect a wider range of realistic colors and a more authentic picture compared to non-curved options. They do seem a little weird in the middle of the room or on the wall, but if you have a setup that allows you to consistently watch head-on, it’s a great viewing experience. $900

Sony 70″ 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model)

Sony has been manufacturing quality consumer electronics for the better part of a century, so it’s safe to say they know how to produce a great TV. Yeah, you’re going to pay a little bit more money for the brand name. But that name carries with it a focus on tech (4K Ultra HD, Direct LED, Dynamic Contrast Enhancement, Motionflow XR, smart functionality, etc.) and ease of use that makes for a great viewing and setup experience. Plus, if you already have a Sony receiver, speakers or other home entertainment products, it will play nicely without you having to spend hours in the settings menus. $1,198

Samsung Flat 82″ 4K UHD 8 Series Smart LED TV (2018)

If money is no object, and bigger is better, the three-thousand dollar Samsung Flat 82″ 4K UHD 8 Series Smart LED TV is the TV for you. Whether you’re watching the latest mindf*ck TV shows or the latest silver screen cinematic masterpiece, this enormous television will deliver almost seven feet of crystal clear entertainment.
