Outside of the questionable legality of mailing “live yeast samples” across the country, swapping craft beer with other aficionados is the only way you’re going to get all those whales and limited releases that just aren’t distributed where you live. The recently launched Brewswap app gives you access to a Tinder-esque system where you get to swipe right on the beers you want and get matched with someone looking to trade for something from your stash. It’s a fantastic alternative to all the social media groups and forums, and frankly, something that should have existed ages ago.

Dropbox Paper
There are plenty of fantastic note-taking and collaboration apps out there that we’re all either still using or experimenting with, but they all suffered from one fatal flaw: syncing with existing files. Dropbox Paper syncs with team members across multiple devices and locations while giving them access to collaborative documents that work with images, tables, tasks and even code. Most importantly, it is ridiculously easy to embed files already stored in Dropbox, so you don’t have to have multiple solutions for storage and collaboration.

If there’s any place you should be checking for the latest cool releases when you’re not on Cool Material, it’s The Awesomer. The Awesomer curates a great selection of awesome things ranging from gadgets and gear to video games and funny videos. They just launched an iPhone and Android app that puts all of that awesome stuff right at your finger tips without having to deal with a mobile browser.

Reigns
If you’re looking for a way to kill some time, why not sit on the throne and rule a medieval kingdom in the meantime? In Reigns, you have to survive an almost never-ending series of encounters with peasants, allies, advisors and enemies by making decisions based on swipe left or right. Each decision you make has implications as the game goes on, so you need to choose carefully or your entire dynasty could be at risk. It’s a fantastic game for conference calls, public transportation and all those other times you’re not busy catching Pokemon.

SevenDays
SevenDays is a weekly planning app that exists somewhere between a full-fledged calendar and tasks app. It’s designed to help you plan for the things that you don’t necessarily need specific time reminders for like watering the plants, fitting in a some exercise and getting a hair cut. SevenDays also includes a widget that makes it easy to access your daily plans regardless of what other app you were using when you suddenly feel like there’s something you forgot to do.
