Amazon’s Dash Lets You Order Products by Simply Pressing a Button

What we originally thought was an April Fools’ joke seems to be a legit new product from Amazon. Amazon Dash Button makes ordering your home essentials—Bounty paper towels, Clorox wipes, Gillette razor blades, and much more—easier than ever. The adhesive button can be stuck wherever you store a certain product, and when you run out of it, simply press the button to reorder some. Each button works with the Amazon smartphone app. When you press a Dash Button you’ll receive an order alert on your phone if you need to cancel. Prime members can request an invite now to receive free Dash Buttons when they become available. Part of us is excited about the convenience, and part of us is nervous about our drunk friends handling our stock of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.
