Amazon announced a bunch of new products yesterday designed to upgrade the Echo ecosystem throughout your home. Amazon has also decided that you need to have access to Alexa while you’re driving, hence the introduction of the Echo Auto. Honestly, we’re totally on board. Alexa makes it easy to play music, set reminders, manage your calendar and utilize all the great Amazon Echo tricks to get things done. When you put the Echo in your car, you can do all those things, along with getting directions, making phone calls and opening the garage door, without ever having to put hands on your phone. The Echo Auto easily mounts to your dash and has eight microphones specifically designed to work with in-car acoustics and hear over music, A/C and road noise so you can always be heard regardless of what’s going on inside and outside. The only catch is the fact that Echo Auto is only available to pre-order by invitation, but you can sign up on the product page.
