Yema x Worn & Wound Superman Maxi Dial Limited Edition

Yema x Worn & Wound Superman Maxi Dial Limited Edition

Yema is a household name in horological circles not because they’re titanic like Rolex, Omega, and TAG Heuer but because they’re one of the few French watch brands to make a name for themselves. They bring old school dive watch heritage to the game, and their prices are far from the big Swatch Group boys. For watch enthusiast website Worn & Wound’s tenth anniversary, Yema has created a limited edition Superman Maxi Dial you won’t find anywhere else. It utilizes the large lumed indices from Yema’s Superman Maxi Dial but lays them out in a unique way, closer to the center and with ellipsoid units a the 3, 6, and 9. The modestly sized 39mm case has 19mm lug width, and the matte dial exhibits a grey hue with a black chapter ring. The most unique feature is what made Yema famous: a bezel lock at the 3 that uses the crown as the securing mechanism. The movement is actually an in-house YEMA2000 automatic with a 42-hour power reserve, and the depth rating is a dive-ready 300 meters. It’s limited to a mere 300 pieces, so get moving. The watches will ship in March.
