Over the years, Tom Dixon and his eponymous brand have collaborated with some other renowned names to create some pretty interesting products. He designed a coat rack that looks like paper clips, a gorgeous glass and wood decanter and the modular IKEA DELAKTIG Couch. The modular hits keep coming because he teamed up with Harry’s shaving to create a razor bar for the London Design Festival. There was a full four-piece setup that included a minimal and streamlined mirror, brush and storage bar base, but the best part of the entire setup was the modular razor you got to design and build yourself. The razor handle had a cylindrical aluminum interior that you would slide aluminum blocks of various shapes and sizes over to create a unique razor you designed and assembled yourself. The only downside to the all aluminum setup is that you had to get one at the London Design Festival. Here’s hoping they take the show on the road to more design festivals.
