The adidas Archive

The adidas Archive

Our first pair of three-stripe adidas shoes was red and white Rivalry high-top basketball shoes, and they were superb. Hell, had we known how legendary the brand would become, we would’ve saved ’em. The adidas brand has now been around for nearly a century, and its offerings from shoes to athletic wear are iconic. Now there’s a book that captures their footwear in vivid colors through 357 pairs of shoes that have cemented the brand in the pantheon of style. Brought to you by Taschen Books out of Cologne, Germany, authors Christian Habermeier and Sebastian Jäger tell the adidas story through some common and some truly rare shoes including prototypes that birthed legends. The full-color book will go on sale in August.
