Seiko Prospex Street Series Solar Diver

Seiko doesn’t mess around when it comes to making great watches. From the truly affordable Seiko 5 collection all the way up to the Grand Seiko Spring Drive models costing tens of thousands of dollars, Seiko has just about everyone covered. Their latest comes in the form of new members of its colorful Prospex Street Series. Two models, the SNE547 and SNE545 draw inspiration from their original Seiko diver from the ’70s with its “tuna can” protective outer case that measures a chunky 46.7mm across. Both timepieces get solar-powered Calibre V157 movements with an astounding 10-month power reserve, tough Hardlex mineral crystal, dive-friendly screw-down crown at the 4 o’clock position, and a dive-rating of 200-meters. Khaki green and white are the dominant colors, both with white hands and marker, as well as that famously ultra-bright lume for easy low-light reading.
