Rolex Announces New 2022 Models

Rolex Announces New 2022 Models

In terms of new releases, Rolex doesn’t do something this dramatic very often. Just announced for 2022 at Watches & Wonders, the illustrious Swiss watchmaker has unveiled six new models that should cause even more watch-loving hordes to descend upon authorized dealers all over the globe. The new releases include: the Air-King with a more legible Chromalight dial, a new “0” added to the 5 o’clock numeral for more balance, and new crown guards; a destro (left-handed) l GMT-Master II with a 9 o’clock cyclops date window and green/black bezel; the Day-Date 40 with a fluted platinum bezel and an ice blue dial; the Yacht-Master 42 in yellow gold with improved low-light legibility, a black Cerachrom bezel insert, and the brilliant Oysterflex rubber bracelet; the Datejust 31 with three new floral dials in blue, green, and silver; and finally the ultra-blingy Yacht-Master 40 with its diamond and sapphire bezel in blue, silver, and pink hues, as well as 46 diamonds along the lugs and crown guard. The likelihood that you’ll be able to get your mitts on any of them likely involves a strong Rolex purchase history, as well as a good relationship with your local AD.
