Whether it’s their focus on form and function, “dad style” or their affordable price tags, New Balance sneakers have always been a great option for the kit. If we had to pick just one pair it would be the iconic New Balance 574s, but those kicks aren’t really designed for trail running or outdoor terrain. That’s where the recently released New Balance All Terrain Collection comes in. Designed to combine trail-inspired style with technical versatility and bombproof durability, the All Terrain Collection includes four different models. The 850 All Terrain and the Hierro v5 both feature Fresh Foam X cushioning in the midsole and Vibram outsoles. The Crag v2 trades the Vibram outsole for an AT Tread variant, and the Minimus Trail 10v1 keeps the Vibram but has an ACTEVA midsole for versatile, flexible support. All four versions are available in a number of different colorways that range from subdued to incredibly colorful depending on your preference. If you’re going to be running outside in less than ideal conditions or off the pavement, there’s a pair of New Balance All Terrain shoes that will fit both your build and style preferences.
