If you or a loved one works for adidas, you get exclusive access to this Gore-Tex infused LX CON shoe that evokes the ‘90s adidas Lexicon shoe in slick waterproof fashion. It’s decidedly stealthier than the original shoe but sports the same chunky adiPrene midsole with the prominent arc and the thick profile. The current and more colorful iterations of the LX CON bowed earlier this year, but this special partnership with GORE-TEX brings a murdered out aesthetic and unique GORE-TEX branding on the tongue, forefoot, and insole, as well as the ability to take on crappy weather. Too bad average joes won’t get their mitts on them since they won’t be sold to the general public, but you might want to scour eBay after its release if you’re willing to pay a pretty penny more.
